Labour Compliance The Government of West Bengal on July 31, 2026, issued a notification regarding extension of FAWLOI Scheme for Locked-Out Workers.

The following has been stated: -

•The Financial Assistance to Workers in Locked-Out Industrial Units (FAWLOI) scheme has been extended for one year, from April 01, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

•The extension is in continuation of the Department’s Notification dated May 06, 2025 and incorporates the amended scheme provisions.
